I’ve been supporting the Netguru website for the last two years in my role as the Growth Engineering Team Leader. In that time, I’m often asked, “What’s it been like to work on just this one site? Is it still a challenge? Is it exciting?” My response is always, “Oh my. It’s only getting better!”
The project has continued to evolve, with each improvement paying off over time. Such a large undertaking requires working closely with my team and building on each success, critical for long-term projects.
We’re on the eve of a paradigm shift with UI. New technologies like the metaverse, AR, wearables, and Zero UI will change the way we access the web. Low-code/no-code solutions and AI (we’ll be using some on our page soon!) will also revolutionize our work. I bet that universal UI knowledge will be in demand — learn semantics, accessibility, and JS now to stay on track!
With this issue of Codestories, I’m sharing why we’re living in one of the most exciting times for UI and web developers.
Enjoy!

🎙️Quote of the week
“What I see is that organizations that are used to delivering high-quality, premium products frequently face difficulties testing a prototype or even a pretotype with customers. They are used to coming with a perfectly developed product to a customer or user. This prevents experimentation and de-risking innovation.”
