DevOps/Cloud Engineering Manager

We are currently looking for a DevOps/Cloud Engineering Manager to work closely with our Delivery team.

You will:

    • Build and execute your team's strategy based on market trends and innovations.
    • Build a community around Cloud services in Netguru among developers.
    • Mentor, motivate, and coach Cloud/DevOps team leaders on a daily basis.
    • Ensure the high quality of Cloud services within the company and for external clients.
    • Work closely with the Presales and Business Development teams to increase the impact of cloud-related services for Netguru.
    • Partner with the Security Team to ensure compliance and with the Dev, QA, PM, and other tech teams to find efficiencies, increase performance, and educate on best practices.
    • Last but not least: keep a strong focus on the automation and optimisation of delivered solutions.

You’re a perfect fit if you have:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in leading teams of 10+ DevOps or developers.
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Software Development, building and/or overseeing scalable products.
  • An understanding of the importance of architecture and infrastructure in the software delivery process.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in building and executing a team development strategy.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (minimum C1).
  • Strong critical thinking ability – you don’t accept the status-quo and assertively strive to implement new solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Optimism, strong communication and leadership skills, and a can-do attitude.

And it’s even better if you have:

    • Prior experience working in the digital services segment.
    • Experience in managing multiple DevOps projects for external clients.
    • AWS/Azure certifications to prove your track record.
    • Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery.

What will happen next? ➡️

  1. You will receive an email from our recruitment team if your experience matches our requirements.
  2. If this is the case, you will be invited for a meeting with one of our Recruitment Specialists and later on, asked to do a task. Additionally, you might be invited for a language audit.
  3. If everything goes well, you will be invited to a technical interview.
  4. The final stage of the recruitment process is a meeting with our leaders, during which you will be asked to work through some case studies related to team management or client work.
