Dear Subscriber,

Does it already feel like summer where you are? I hope it does!

Before I take my dog in search of a peaceful and quiet nature escape, I would like you to sit comfortably, get yourself a nice cup of tea and dive into the diverse content of this Codestories series. :) It comes from a recruiter’s perspective, with a pinch of tech. :)

Hiring is a balancing act between keeping your process structured while making sure YOU, the candidate, and YOUR experience don't suffer. And this is what we do every day — make sure we stay diverse and unbiased, help you feel included and provide useful feedback to help you grow.

So in this series you will find materials on how to understand and avoid bias

You will also learn more about teamwork and teams becoming more diverse. I am sure you also feel that bringing different perspectives together — no matter if those differences come from religion, gender, hobbies or your background — is what matters in a great organisation.

By the way — recently Netguru has been recognized among the Best Workplaces, Poland in the 2021 edition of the Great Place To Work® listing and our hiring process is a significant piece of this puzzle! Sustainability (and you will find some interesting materials on it here!) and inclusiveness are what we care for and I strongly believe we’re inclusive as a company because everyone feels that they can bring their whole self to work. And not overwork themselves!

Do you agree? I hope you do and that you’ll enjoy this series of Codestories.
