Contractors who join the Talent Marketplace enjoy access to interesting projects as well as the option to work with different teams and gain experience in specific fields. All you have to do is fill out the application form that fits your expertise, then go through a fast-track recruitment process. When that’s done, we will be able to match your skill set, seniority level, and interest with open projects. Once you get your assignment, you’ll be able to join the project immediately.
Every project is different. The average length is 3-6 months, but some projects take 3 months or less, and others last longer than a year. As the project begins, its duration is usually estimated, but remember that estimations can change depending on what happens. When we send project information to you, we will share all the details that we are able to.

No. Joining the Talent Marketplace means you will receive monthly payment and access to top-tier tools. Unfortunately, additional benefits, such as insurance coverage, aren’t available through this form of cooperation with us.
The amount of information we can share with our contractors depends on each specific project and the Non-Disclosure Agreement we’ve signed with the client. However, we’re a company built on transparent communication and we don’t want to keep anyone in the dark if we don’t have to. When we contact you about an open project, we’ll provide you with a description. And once you’re assigned to a project, the Project Manager, Account Manager, and other team members will share all the details you need to know with you. Also, asking questions is always welcome.

That depends! We will inform you about the start date as soon as we know it ourselves. If your project is an ongoing one, we might have a better idea sooner than in the case of a new project. In either case, it’s a good idea to be flexible. To date, most of our contractors began work immediately after they finished previous projects.
You don’t need to join the Talent Marketplace for that - you can visit our careers page at any time. But if you want to start out as a contractor to get to know us better, and then apply, you’re welcome to do so. If you want a long-term cooperation with us without losing the flexibility of a freelancer, you can simply continue applying for further projects.
We want to give you as much flexibility as possible, but we will need to interact with you regularly, and we work Monday to Friday. We also don’t work in the late evening or on weekends, even for clients in different time zones. But each project is different, and a lot will depend on your team. Your Project Manager will most likely want you to join daily stand-ups, sometime between 9 and 10 AM GMT+1 or +2 (depending on time of year).
We’ll pay you for each hour of your work. Simply issue an invoice to us on the first day of each month and we will transfer the payment to you within 14 days. We don’t use spying software, so to make sure you get paid in full for your work, we’ll ask you to log the time you spend on each task in a time-tracking app called Toggl.
We don’t offer paid leave to our contractors, but you can take unpaid time off if you need to. Just let your Team Leader know about this in advance, so that the team can make arrangements for your absence.
Based on a post-assignment evaluation - yours and ours - we’ll try to find a new project for you as soon as possible. We can’t promise that there won’t be a gap, but Netguru is a dynamic company with a lot going on at all times - new opportunities pop up every day, so don’t worry.
